大学生英语学习风格的研究

        学习风格对于英语教学起到重要作用。本文介绍了学习风格的理论、文化相关理论以及文化对于学习风格的影响。本文采用定量的研究方法,主要以问卷的形式对哈尔滨工程大学以及黑龙江大学200名非英语专业的学生进行了英语学习风格调查,并采用SPSS 11.0统计软件进行数据分析。本研究总结出一些中国大学生英语学习风格的倾向,并讨论了中国文化价值观和教育制度对于中国大学生英语学习风格的影响。结合文化和学习风格的理论,本文提出建议调整英语教学风格以适应中国学生的英语学习风格,以期提高英语教学的效率。
    Learning style has a great impact on language learning and teaching. This thesis introduces theories on learning styles, theories on culture as well as the effect of culture on learning styles.The study is a quantitative study. The author makes use of the questionnaire method to investigate English learning styles. The subjects are 200 non-English majors from Harbin Engineering University and Heilongjiang University. Social Statistics software (SPSS 11.0) is employed to analyze the data. The study generalizes Chinese students’learning style preferences and discusses the effect of Chinese cultural values and educational system on Chinese college students’English learning styles. Combining the theories of culture and learning styles, this thesis also puts forward some suggestions on adjusting English teaching styles to Chinese students’English learning styles to improve the efficiency of both English teaching and learning.
